Materials

Wool
We use coarse wool and tweed for our coats, and finer wool for our kimonos and trousers. The fabrics we produce from are always 100% pure wool. The material is breathe-through and warm, but it’s also suitable for hotter weather, as the wool, because of its natural origin, doesn’t make you sweaty.
Cotton
Cotton is a natural fiber made from plants. It absorbs humidity very well and is also breath-through, which supports the natural characteristics of wool, wherever it’s used as lining instead of artificial fabrics.
Viscose
Viscose is derived from the cellulose or wood pulp from fast-growing, regenerative trees such as eucalyptus, beech, and pine, as well as plants such as bamboo, soy, and sugar cane. The characteristics of the material are similar to cotton, but in touch it resembles silk more. Is absorbs humidity very well and is perfect for summer clothing.
Silk
Silk is a natural lightweight and breathable fabric, which reduces the risk of overheating. Silk’s good at maintaining your body temperature which means it can help you feel cool in hot weather and warm in the cold. It’s one of the strongest natural fabrics. Silk is smooth the the touch and shiny to the eye, with a luxurious feel.
